Does an NFC Card Work on iPhone and Android? All Answers

Short answer: yes. iPhone XS and newer read the card with a tap, no app needed, and most modern Android phones do too once NFC is on. Any other phone can scan the QR on the card.

iPhone

Hold the top back of the unlocked phone near the card, then tap the notification.

Android

Settings → Connections → turn on NFC, then hold the middle back of the phone near the card.

No. The card opens a normal web page.

Need internet?

The reading phone needs internet to open the profile. The card needs no battery or charging.
